7th year teaching, I'm struggling hard with burnout, it may be exacerbated by ADHD and depression but it's difficult to sort out what is what. I've had a therapist off and on for the past 5 years or so but always peter out when I "feel better". Now I feel like I don't have it in me to even check-in on my students who are non-attenders and my admin team is adamant about us doing our own follow ups.
To the veterans, how have you been able to keep going as long as you have?

To all senior folks, do you think a person starting out should punch above his weight at any cost to land a role that pays well. Or is the money really Going to kick in. I work as a data analyst, and see that data scientists get paid hell more than me. I am liking what I do but the money is comparatively less. Is staying in such a role advisable?
