On last Wednesday I got client project acceptance mail... but No work or training started on thus, friday... I have asked that person who took my project interview... he answered that it will take time to reflect and he will update when project code is ready.... Is anyone know how much time they will take for on-boarding in the project and will reflect the project code in SAP portal Nagarro
Today was my first day at my new job (small startup doing data science). But after I had accepted my offer, I had been interviewing with Amazon, not really thinking it’d work out anyway. Didn’t make it past technical screen which is why I’m at this company now. But my recruiter said they’d recycle my resume for other potential roles, and today they emailed me saying they saw my job change on LinkedIn, asked if I’m still considering roles at Amazon. IDK WHAT TO DO 😭
I am reaching out to you all and am looking forward to break into Investment Banking from Consulting. Applied to Goldman Sachs via a referral but my resume is stuck after HireVue. Talked to the VO who referred me and he said Goldman doesn’t hire in Q4. If that’s true and still need to be in GS, can someone forward my resume directly to the team? Their career portal sucks. TIA Goldman Sachs PS: I promise a dinner in a dance place in NY after I get hired as a sign of my gratitude 🙈

Is it worth to resign in this recession time ?
At the first glance without reading your resume thoroughly, correct me if I’m wrong:
1. Keep your resume to one page only, unless you’re in academia
2. Keep your bullet points to max 2-3 sentence per bullet point, so that they’re concise
3. Older experiences don’t need that much content or that many bullet points. Remove them unless they’re super relevant to the job you’re applying to
4. Take a step back, literally, and look at your resume. Is it too busy? Where do you want your reader to focus on? Any keywords they’re looking for? Make sure you use some white space to separate different ideas or sections. I’m a huge fan of minimalist, clean designs. The style is really up to you
5. I usually don’t include sections like objective or professional summary. Try to brainstorm what you’d like to sell to your reader or potential employer. Highlight that instead

Some tough love for a fellow devil dog!
This reads like a user manual. I just glanced at it and already moved on mentally. I can imagine that other recruiters and managers have also done the same.
Your bullet points read like a job description when they should be ONE LINE accomplishments backed by specific metrics. Hiring managers do not care about your job description - they want to see what you accomplished in your role.
One page going back 7 years max. No one cares what you did in 2011. You could have been a SVP in 2011 for all they care; it’s irrelevant today as too much time has passed.
Convince these people of your VALUE. Not your numerous jobs. Not your education. Not every detail that you did when working these jobs. Only your value. Value is what you will trade for a job offer and a paycheck. This resume above will get you ignored because it shows hiring managers and recruiters that you do not know your role very well (even though you very well may)
Thank you for that! I will take your advice and adjust! Semper fi!
Put education first, including Lean Six
Remove objective and summary completely- this should be conveyed by your interest in the position / cover letter if job requires it. No need to convey location or remote. A lot of this is redundant.
If there are skills or wins you included in obj/ summary that aren’t in parts on your job descriptions, add them as relevant bullet points to job descriptions. Listed skills that you currently have in this section should be in a separate section at the bottom of the page, in a single line, separated by commas. Pick only the top 3-5 most important skills, based on key words in job descriptions.
Organizations should also be at bottom of page.
As others have said, shorten job descriptions. Limit to only one page- you don’t need more than that, and people stop reading at page 1. Make all text a font size smaller. In my opinion, I’d keep all experience since you’re not a boomer. Remove underlines for companies, make them bold and italic. Position titles should be only italic. Each header section should follow same format. Right now you have PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE and Organizations. It should be PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE and ORGANIZATIONS, etc.
Thank you! Really appreciated!

Happy to provide a referral!
Thank you!

Great resume and experience!
1 page and two if it’s a must
Be crisp and to the point
Maybe reduce the objective and summary down?
I would add some colors or headers that capture attention, to stand out from a pile
Absolutely get rid of the objective section. When applying for positions tweak your resume so it gets through the ATS.
CV’s a story. What story are you trying to tell, and how can you tell it with the least verbiage possible to include all relevant points?
Consolidate, use plain English. I’ve got 10 YOE across aviation, tech, and finance, and my CV is one page. I’ll probably be 12 or 15 YOE before it hits two (unless I start writing articles and books).

Look at something from Roche/Genentech. They have a number of open roles in your field. I can provide a referral

Here is a linkedin account I follow. He also has a resume template you can use. They also have workshops you can listen in on during the week and I believe their recordings are posted on their page. They show you how to use linkedin search function properly. I learned something new a few weeks ago. If you see anything for Oxy.com in Supply chain lmk I can refer you once you fix up your resume.
The resume template is under Jeff's profile and there is a hyperlink. I think the WONConsulting group is super helpful. I highly recommend you watching their videos. Honestly I get bored of listening to videos but they actually made it fun and interesting. You can also ask questions while the live feed is on and sometimes they will fix your resume for free if you get selected.
Your resume lost me at your objective. I didn’t do anything more than glance at your professional summary. Looks like you listed a few things that should be either explained in your interview or articulated by metrics in your job history. Anything you did in 2015 for the military is likely a decade out of date, so yeah you can cut this down to one page. Be clear and concise, back your work up with quantifiable metrics and you’ll do great. Cut the fat out!
Maybe there’s something about the focus on veteran service in both if your bios. Do you want them to read service in the first sentence, or nine years Supply chain experience? You can shuffle the order if whatever you want to prioritize and is most relevant. Also you have a full job list that describes your exp as a veteran, it may not need to be listed at all in your objective etc.
