You're point? Law abiding gun owners exercising their right? Or are you implying that this will lead to increased mass murder in ND because of what the news told you?
Your*
The point is not what the news intuited for me. The point is: there is now an increased number of people now being able to legally carry weapons with them. Do you really trust every single one of them to hold their sanity and temper in check should arguments or fights ensue? Giving them the ability to hide guns on their person now increases the risk of a bar fight or public argument to escalate into gun discharge. Unless, of course, you, with your overwhelming trust in mankind, think not a single one of the gun carriers could lose their temper and fire their weapon in anger.
And if you actually read the article, the ND governor is "recommending" people take gun safety courses. Not requiring, but recommending. So you don't NEED to take a safety course or a test to conceal a gun on your person - not like getting a drivers license, no.
I believe the action solidifies people's natural rights. I live in a constitutional carry state (MO) but have my CCW so I can carry elsewhere. After being held at gun point and having friends shot in STL you learn to defend yourself.
OP - not point in arguing with you. You don't understand the constitution or the difference between a right and a privilege. Driving a car is a privilege, bearing arms is a right. End of discussion
And you won't use common sense and will refuse to understand the intent behind the second amendment. I agree - no point in arguing. Although your statement of privilege vs right absolutely boggles my mind.
