Girlfriend and I had a heated argument 2 bottles of wine deep as to whether or not a chocolate covered wafer is considered a Petit Four.

A small oven 😜

No! Do not schedule time with friends/family outside your household. Jesus. The quicker we stop this the better we’ll be. FFS.

It’s all good. Everyone is stressed, anxious, and reactive. You both mean well with your posts ✌️

Scared about wife and I balancing two babies while WFHing it. This is so unbelievably difficult. I don’t want to let the family, firm, or client down. It’s a balancing act I haven’t fully prepared for

Totally in your position. However everyone I spoke with for advice said something we already know of.... family and health first. Work will go on with or without you.

Looking forward to work as a distraction. Hoping I don’t get ergonomic wfh pains this week like last. Jealous of all the couples I saw this weekend holding hands and cuddling and even just walking around together. #foreveralone

Thank you for asking C1! Doing great. Did a few wellness calls this weekend and people that matter are all doing well. The weeks are busier WFH, but it’s what it is! At least there’s no commute or early morning flights to worry about.

Loving it.. hopefully this becomes a norm for another couple of weeks.

I seem to be anxious at night after some other family member is anxious about my SO and I in New York. I find it hard to focus and kinda don’t want to work but it’s good to work because that’s better than reading the news all day and worrying!

Listening to, or reading the news too much, can certainly be a downer.

Just finished up a project on Friday and am now on the bench. Project that I was scheduled for is on hold. Reaching out to my network but I’m nervous I will not be working for at least a month. :(

I started with my bar prep company in March and have been working remotely since. I don’t feel like I was ever properly trained (can’t tell if that’s because of poor management or WFH or both) but I have a hard time with the contract management system and have made several mistakes. Of course, I wasn’t trained in the CMS and am only taught how to do something correctly after I’ve don’t it incorrectly. Any advice on keeping things in perspective? I feel like I’m underperforming but only with tech

Our office is moving to another building and is going to have a new “no assigned desk” policy. We just sit wherever we feel like sitting, like a 7th-grade cafeteria. Seems like their intention is good but also sounds like a terrible idea. Has anyone else’s office done this? Not even sure how I’ll be able to request a second monitor now

Know someone else posted this too, but if your gyms are closed (likely) and since we are all wfh give this workout a shot. 40 mins and really good workout. Done it two days now and feels good.

After you’ve connected with a consultant on LinkedIn what’s the best practice for asking someone to give you a practice case? To balance respect someone’s time vs coming off as transactional. Should you first ask for coffee chat, then later a case or can you ask for a case in your first “chat”? I am prepping for MBB interviews but I know consultants work crazy hours so I don’t want to take up more time than necessary - what would you prefer? What is the best practice?

I'm trying to buy a new carry-on size suitcase but am having trouble finding one that fits my requirements. Does anybody know a four wheel spinner bag that's: 1: decent quality build, particularly wheels and handle 2: has a lid that opens and one large compartment (soft or hardside but I don't like the two half clamshell hardsides) 3: looks decent (doesn't have to be fancy/designer, just something I'm not embarrassed to take to a client office) 4: under ~$300
