Got an offer from a pharma. I am not familiar with the pay structure. Base salary is right at my expectation. It is a great offer only after combining the base salary with the target and stock bonuses. I was told that everyone at the company always get 100% of their target and may get more based on personal performance. Not sure about the stock bonus.

Should I focus on negotiating just my base salary? Is the target bonus % and stock% also negotiatable?

Help them figure out what makes them happy and how they can get there.

Two of my friends and I explicitly did this a few years ago, and our careers and friendships have absolutely flourished. Celebrate each other. Lift each other up. Normalize giving a huge eff about your career and your friendships
