I started a new position, and was offered a promotion 3 weeks in. Salary increase, bonus, company car was offered so I accepted. A week later I have a meeting scheduled with CEO, CFO, HR & VP to discuss transition. Nobody shows. CEO later talks to me and says I’m too valuable in my current position & I have more vertical movement opp. No benefit change.

I’m at a bit of a crossroads right now: been at a fairly good agency (not a WK but not a Zimmerman either) where I’ve done some good work as a solo, foreign creative in the last couple years but it’s clear the best opportunities are reserved for CW-AD teams.
