How does this sound?
Arguing with the bf about "work husbands." I personally have a lot of colleagues who have one, whether it be a work wife or husband. Let’s set the record straight, upvote if you have one!
My GF when at ACN: "It looks like all you do is copy and paste slides from one place to another." My GF when at GOOG: "It looks like all you do is copy and paste code from one place to another." 😒
Everyone is praising Obama for how good of a person he is, how he makes them feel all warm & fuzzy inside...while I am over here wondering how he took our debt from $10 trillion to $20 trillion...
For those of you who got into the big 3 (Bain, BCG, Mk) how many months did you practice casing for? How many hours a week?
On my way to Sunday night flight, but can't contain my excitement for this upcoming PTO starting at the end of this week going till the New Years!
Got an offer from EY and Deloitte and I'm not sure which one should I take. It's my first, non internship, role in the industry and I'm out of my zone.
A lot of my close friends in Tech are SWEs and are making ~400-500k / year. I am in Consulting and make ~160k/yr. I know this is already a lot and I am super privileged, but I still struggle with comparison. I have no interest in being a SWE but I still struggle with the lesser money I make. How do I deal with this apart from aspiring for higher paid professions?
9 hours laters, I've watched how to the other half lives in LGA's third world terminal. It's terrifying
If you've ever ________, you might be a consultant.
People at the airport: "Thanksgiving is such a busy day to travel." Try Monday morning at ORD (including pre-check) #smh
Associate at pwc. Got an offer from a boutique consultancy that does cost reduction/performance improvement, mostly with PE firms. 50% increase in base. Work is quite interesting. I'm just slightly worried that it'll hurt me later on in my career since the boutique is very small and specialised, and not very well known compared to pwc. Anyone jumped from b4 to boutique?
