PCOS is pretty common. Also wait until there’s a reason to worry to start worrying (easier said than done!). Can you call your doctor? Can force the issue sometimes to get an answer earlier.
I have debilitating pain bcos of my endometriosis, fibroids and a couple of ovarian cysts. Pretty much chronic and constant pain. But I manage it and go about my day and live a full life. It's just a...thing...I manage. What I'm trying to say is that when the initial shock wears of, you'll learn to manage and live with PCOS. Wish you all the best! Don't ruin your weekend more than you have..

I’ve had those symptoms and knew I had PCOS my whole life. Healthy, active lifestyle helps. I gained ~20 unexplained lbs once and lost 30 over a year or so, even through pregnancy. Fitter than I’ve ever been at 36. Had baby with little help- a 5 day pill to trigger ovulation and one IUI (look it up if unfamiliar).
If you’re worried about your looks, pregnancy, etc., PCOS is very manageable and very common.
