I’m newly diagnosed and have not started meds. Curious - how effective do you find it to be for concentration? Both work and life? I’m currently sat doing my deadline late because it’s so hard to finish things

Sending hugs C2! Navigating a new diagnosis is hard, but I’m proud of you for asking questions and finding these spaces to learn more about yourself!!

I work from the office everyday, so I keep my meds there during the week. Maybe you could keep a couple in a drawer or your work bag

I don’t have a designated desk but I’m definitely putting some in the computer bag from now on!!

I dont understand the newly diagnosed part. I was also formally diagnosed late, but Im older and had other stacks to deal with the problem (ineffectively) since my teens. Also in them days, I couldn’t afford.

Not quite sure what you mean

My firm does a firm wide attorney retreat/meeting this summer. I’ll be about 25 weeks pregnant and I have to fly there with my local team/office. I’m very, very nervous about getting COVID while pregnant and I work with people who are generally lax around Covid to begin with. What would you do? Context: pretty much 100% attendance at the meeting. I’m nervous about flying AND the meeting itself.

Has anyone needed to be on blood thinners during their treatment? Found out I have Factor V Leiden from the genetic testing/bloodwork I did and the clinic referred me to a hematologist. He said I would need to use heparin throughout the process and for a month after egg retrieval while the estrogen levels come down. Just wondering how common that is & any thoughts/advice appreciated! (Also wondering if the heparin costs would be covered by insurance if the rest is out of pocket)

So I’m currently in the training process (20 weeks) and we start live phone calls next Monday and I’m a bit nervous to start talking to people on the phone in regards to their insurance. It’s been a lot of information to retain.. I know that we get 6 months of coaching after training but I still feel really uneasy. Is there any advice for a new health care concierge? Thank you!! @

Hi. I have very low AMH, 36 years old & never have been pregnant. I have done 2 IVF cycles this year approx 5 months apart. Each time had only 2 eggs retrieved, 1 fertilization each which lead to the embryo reaching blastocyst stages both times & both came back normal after genetic testing 🤍 talk about beating the statistics odds! 🤞🏻 I now have 2 cutie embryos saved. My husband & I would love to have twins and will be speaking to my doctor about the best options. Twins thoughts?

I see a lot of people making more money when they exit. In my experience, I have yet to find a role that pays more for a similar level of responsibility in a similar location. Current M in T&O at $153k in the Midwest (not Chicago). Offers I’ve seen at the manager level in industry in similar midwestern cities at the manager level are typically between $110-130k with a 15-30% bonus. Any advice on finding an opportunity that will lead to a salary increase, even if it’s only a modest one?

Long one - one of my best friends (10+ years) and I had a drink last week, I told her of my recent ADHD diagnosis and how we had noticed the generational trend (my mum & grandad as very similar symptoms wise and they acknowledge this, but not diagnosed). The friend mentioned her therapist has suggested she may had ADHD (inattentive type) - she then told me a few things like how she's absolutely neurotypical and she's never associated herself with neurodiversity etc, she made a ... Tbc

Vyvanse side effect - After the 1st hour of consumption of 20 or 30 mg, I've noticed I get very chatty and social. I've used this as an opportunity to network on LinkedIn or check in with friends and family.

After that, I settle down and mostly focus on work. Anyone else notice similar side effects?

I suspect I have ADHD. I am very good in executing and repeating what I know but have major issues in shaping an approach or identifying new opportunities. And if I don’t know how to continue I am just staring at my screen or finding distractions. Can this be related to ADHD or is it maybe just time for a career change?
