Are we still seeing h1b transfer rejects with big4, FANG or other large consulting firms? Considering a switch.
I was on opt from July 2020 to July 2021. I got my h1b approved in 2020 and chose to activate it via the consular processing method. I left the US in Jul 2021 and will finally visit the embassy for stamping tomorrow. If successful, does it mean that I could get another company to apply for a h1b transfer right away? Or do I have to enter the US before the h1b transfer process can start? Thanks!
How long does it take to get a green card from filing the I-140 and I-485 concurrently under EB-1 for an EU national? Do I have to wait for GC to move jobs? Or can I move with EAD?

Hi Folks, my F-1 visa expired earlier this year and I’m currently on STEM OPT. Would love to go back home (India) for two weeks during December/Jan but haven’t had any luck yet with getting appointments to stamp my visa. Anyone else on the same boat?
Anyone move to the US on an L1B and go through the green card process? If so, how long did it take (from date of arrival) and any tips / watch outs?
I'm sorry if this has been talked about before. Is it true that once you start the perm process you are stuck with your company till you get a green card? If you want to switch in the middle of the process do you have to start with perm all over again? I've tried to read about this but there is so much confusing info.
At EY how do you get someone on the phone to talk about your immigration case? I used the intake form but never hear back and I need to talk to someone directly but don't know who to reach out to?
Is it worth staying in consulting to get your green card? Or should I use consulting to go into tech and worry about gaining a different experience over getting a green card?
I am 10 days into my H1B grace period with no leads. Are there any suggestions for next steps?

Hello fishes, has anyone been to the US consulate in Tijuana or Matamoros in Mexico for H1b stamping? How was your experience?
Has anyone filed and had luck to expedite there refund from prior years by filling out form 911 - request for taxpayer advocate service assistance? If I do that, is that going to effect during any stage of the green card process?
Real estate experts - I previously stayed in US for 6 years and made 799 credit score, however due to Visa issues I had to move out. Now I have chance to get back to US on L1 Visa. Do any of you know if lenders have any issues lending mortgage to people who are on L1 Visa?
American looking to land a job in Paris or Amsterdam. No visa sponsorship required. Any agencies looking for an English copywriter? Any third party recruiters I should try to meet?
I needed some advise. This is my last attempt on H1-B lottery. I was planning on initiating my H1b lottery from an outside consultancy as well along with my current employer so that I have better chances. I wanted to check if that is legal and I can have multiple H1b filings from different employers? Thanks.
If issued H1B RFE during H1B transfer how long does it typically take to resolve and get the approval? Filed with premium processing with Fragomen. How long can I expect fragomen to take, uscis processing time, etc?

What do you guys do if you have one week off between your old and new jobs? I was in Europe for few weeks in September, so had my vacation, I also hate doing nothing!
I realize I'm intolerant of other countries whenever I need to scroll to find "United States" in a webform.
I am Already through the first round of interview with Sr Manager at PwC. Next round is behavioral round with director and then another final round with director. What you guys think are the odds to make it through the next 2 rounds when the first technical round is clear ? Thanks in advance.

I'm having a baby 😊😊😊
I feel like I’m getting left behind at work. This girl who is my age started on the same day as me & in the same position. She seems to be doing more work and working on cooler projects than me. She’s in the office and I’m wfh bc I live w a divorced sick parent and I just generally feel insecure and that she’s getting noticed more by our boss/team. I feel like I have been raising my hand to do things and helping people out w projects/jumping on opportunities but I can’t shake this feeling. Help!

Got a screener with a recruiting person. What are some of the differences in the approach to the interview as opposed to having a screener with an attorney? Do I basically treat the interview the same way? Are there any specific questions that I should ask in this type of interview? Any input and anecdotes are appreciated!
I can honestly say that working from home these last few years has been the best thing that’s happened to my career as a producer. I never realized how distracting being in an office was. Now, I actually can focus on bidding, scheduling, reviewing contracts, and all of the stressful parts of production WITHOUT having to factor in code switching and a commute. I left my agency producer role for a fully remote producing role and I’m just….thrilled. Anyone else refuse to go back to office? 😩
Considering most of my college friends make a salary that is half what I make and have no potential for raises or bonuses each year makes me thankful I work in such a rewarding industry. 🦃
Hi everyone. What is the typical interview process like for tech Bizops roles? Are the case interviews similar to the ones we do in the consulting industry with the scenario based on the company we’re interviewing for? Thanks in advance.
For someone who is not tech, what would be the ballpark salary for someone with around 5 YOE in analytics, no graduate degree, and only a SEC DoD clearance?
