Tata Consultancy Hi fishies, I recently interviewed for a Big data dev role for Autodesk but it's via a third party called Applicantz. Initially the contract is for 1 year, which can be extended. There is also scope of Autodesk hiring permanently after 6 months or 1 year. Can anyone provide some reviews about Autodesk and third party Applicantz. Usually I would not have considered anything via a third party, but the company(Autodesk) seems great and work discussed seems good as well.

At Amazon, what is the difference between a Program Manager and Technical Program Manager? It looks like the Technical one gets paid about 25% more but not sure what roles/responsibilities they do differently. Amazon
Also how technical a background does someone need for a Technical Program Manager role?

Make $120k Accenture now doing tech implementations, just got offer 200k TC EY business consulting. I love my job, have a great WLB (working 20 hours per week, no travel, clear path to M in about 1.5 years) - am I an idiot for even contemplating staying? What I would be doing is more PPT/functional vs Onestream/technical which I do now.

Happened to me too. It sucks. Some people / companies are just jerks.
Yeah it sucks. I was really excited about this one. Cool work, got along great with my would be boss, and the second to last time I talked to them they all but gave me an offer. Then nothing :/
Wtf? 7 rounds and a 5-hour case? What kind of position were you interviewing for?
Not gonna lie, on top of being absolutely livid about being ghosted it would make me re-consider what I’m trying to do altogether.
Is it worth your time/effort/mental health to go through that gauntlet if it’s not something you’re dying to do?
Front office finance position. I’m sure I’ll get another bite at some point but this just felt like my first real shot to get into high finance
Went through 4 rounds and after the final round the recruiter asked me to confirm my salary expectations. I gave her a range within what she originally gave me for the role and she said I wanted too much for my experience. Emailed back asking to negotiate and was ghosted. It’s a crapshoot
that really sucks, op. 😔 take it as a red flag that they treat candidates that way, especially after you spent so much time on it. their loss, not yours!!
Literally same ... it stings but gave me motivation and confidence that I have a shot a PE roll if I wanted to with the right pivoting. Keep pushing OP!

I interviewed for an investment associate role a while back too. 7 hour long final round presenting a case to 20+ people on a deck I worked a week on.
Recruiter asked me about salary, start date etc. said the team loved me. Then came back a week later saying team “went with banker. Thx”
People are dicks. Keep your head up.
Oh well

Where at?
DD is 💩 They did the same to me. My friend who works there hates it
Can’t sue foe being ghosted
It's good practice for the firm that deserves you down the line.
