Went through final round of interviews that went well and HR manager emailed asking when a good time would be to chat on the phone for an update. Good or bad sign?

Doesn’t mean anything, could be acceptance or rejection

How long ago did the interview happen? If very recent, most likely good news

Literally had this happen to me a week ago. Got the email about 3 days after the interview. Call was 2 days later. I was rejected.

I just listened to an interview of a creative director recount their path towards copywriting at a famous ad agency. It could not have been a more textbook case of failing upwards as a white man.

It would seem the only thing you need to make it as an advertising creative is to have lots of not particularly original ideas. Practically every other skill is unnecessary. If you’re a white man.

That this level of mediocrity passes for talent explains why so many agency briefs are so lame.

Final round! Panel interview w an assignment to present some ideas on how to increase customers for 1 of 5 key audience segments.
I’m most familiar with 1 as it’s the audience I work with at current job. Not enough info/experience with other 2 segments. Remaining segments I know enough but not as confidently.

Will it look like I took the easy way out if I chose my segment? They know it’s my current audience and has been for 8 yrs. Would love to hear your thoughts!

I have a few interviews lined up, which is great, but I have terrible anxiety. Anyone recently join Guidehouse as an experienced hire Manager? I have an interview coming up and am curious what kind of salary/benefits package i should expect. TIA!

If you’re given a low to mid salary range with high range kept confidential and you go through the lengthy interview process, is it appropriate to negotiate more after being given an offer in the mid-range? Don’t want it to seem like I wasted everyone’s time if I “already knew” the range.

Job base salary presented by HR during screening interview was $130-$145k. I have 3-5 years more experience and more education compared to the posting requirements (BA required, I have a MS). I love the position and what it entails, but was hoping to reach $150-$160 base salary. If offered the position, is this a reasonable ask? This is for big pharma, data analytics in New England.

EY verbal offer rescinded:( Has this happened to anyone else? “We have had a change in our demand for our product team and we are having to reassess our hiring. I am placing your name on our list to follow up with once we have a better grasp on the next month or two’s availability and needs, this normally doesn’t happen once we get rolling in a hiring process however Q1 had had some changes this fiscal year”
