I just got a long-term sub position (~4wks) to kick off a new kinder class. It’s my first time with public school Kinder, and I am NERVOUS! Any tips and tricks for routine and building class unity?

I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?

I am currently working as a Data Science Analyst in Amex and would like to make a switch to Fraud detection/Credit risk modelling in future.(not in a hurry but would like to start preparing for the same)
How should I go about preparing for it? Is MBA the only course?

Can’t get my direct supervisor (only supervisor for 1.5 mo) to write rec because of lack of time + stigma. My former supervisor (1.5 yrs) and a project manager will be doing my recs. YOE 3.5
I’ve seen many “do I explain in optional?” jokes but does this count as an extenuating circumstance to write about? Do I write a lot of background or an direct explanation?
