OP - I don't get a flu shot, because I've never had the flu. I have some kind of immunity but I am also an adult making an informed choice.

The basic vaccines like measles, mumps, etc - these are no brainers and there is just no statistical evidence that links vaccines to autism. Not having these vaccines puts children with weakened immune systems, in real danger.

Vaccines also aren't blockbuster drugs like those for diabetes or oncology. These are profitable but companies like Sanofi wouldn't damage their brand for vaccines at the expense of their true blockbuster drugs. The science, stats and motivation for this conspiracy makes no sense.

Yes we are all a pile of chemical reactions and react differently, but there is clear safety and efficacy that have been demonstrated in these trials.

He was asked a legit question and could have simply declined to answer or stated that he would not comment on matters of intelligence.

You don't lecture a journalist for asking a question about a legitimate story thats been sourced.

He is the president of everyone, he won aso why is he still campaigning- and he didn't win the popular vote so he didn't win with a mandate so he needs to govern and look to build consensus and unity. What is he trying to accomplish?

Questioning intelligence is fine if he is getting briefings and actually listening to the intelligence reports first. He didn't acknowledge intelligence that didn't coincide with his narrative.

He is not behaving in remotely a presidential fashion. Bush won with contention too and behaved like a mature adult.

Oh yeah, and the BCG guys are the trolls...

Haha, holy shit. OP thinks vaccines haven't been studied.

Today was a low point.

Watching Obama last night and Trump today, it is really looking like Idiocracy.

Trump is heckling CNN for a story that was later supported by the director of national intelligence. This is quickly becoming a joke.

I am a Republican too

OP please I beg you point me to a single study that links autism to vaccines. Just one. A single study that hasn't been disproved.

Don't you dare spew that study the statistics bs with me. Cite your statistics or admit he's batshit crazy about an obvious safety measure. Same with global warming.

I am conservative. I voted for Trump. I rooted for Obama to do well even though I voted otherwise. I would suggest all of y'all do the same.

Yeah it's great, all the kids whining is hilarious. Any liberal news outlet is hilarious right now 🤣🤣

Sad!

What the fuck is your news wire?? The first of those 30 studies was 11 observations in 1943 are you kidding me??? Did you read this garbage link you sent? Do you not even remember n>30 as a minimum sample size from statistics. Gtfo

OP, the data to link autism with vaccines is statistically suspect at best.

Autism is being diagnosed way more than it was when I was a kid. Aspergers and other forms weren't diagnosed commonly 20 years ago.

People are also waiting till later to have children than a decade and two decades ago.

You have to isolate the variables in a controlled study and then analyze and the data to support a link between vaccines and autism isn't there.

I am fine if people don't want to vaccinate their kids, but those kids shouldn't be allowed in public schools, sports leagues, etc.

EY1 - really?

Trump called Obama an illegitimate president and was a birther for 8 years. He created a circus like environment and is being asked legitimate questions about conflicts of interest, intelligence, his questioning of intelligence, etc.

He is still campaigning. He gave a thank you door which is shortsighted since he is now the president of those who voted for him and who didn't vote for him. Most Americans didn't vote for him.

He is questioning the agencies who provide the intelligence he will need when he is authorizing an air strike and has to liase with other leaders to coordinate based on intelligence.

He is attacking a journalist who asked a legitimate question and then lectured from the pulpit. There is absolutely no candor or poise he is demonstrating.

A congressman shouted "you lie" when Obama was giving the state of the union.

Trump has to start acting at least like an adult.

like

EY1 He receives different treatment because of the ridiculous things he says (and the way he says them), the continuous lies, and the objectively absurd positions he has on global warming, immigration, tax breaks for the ultra wealthy, vaccines, abortion (punishment for women??). Please.

Independent here. Didn't vote for Donnie. I will support my elected leaders by holding them to the creed of this nation. I will aggressively canvas, write letters / make phone calls to my senator, and peacefully protest for the next 4-8 years. I will engage in thoughtful dialogue with others and call out falsehood when appropriate.

^ these are options for every US citizen. Complaining on social media while cathartic and funny, can't be the only thing we do if we actually don't want Hitler's very stupid little cousin throwing us into chaos. Stay strong y'all!

We all need more parents and teachers who are like this woman. She is a blessing in my life today, and I don’t even know her. We should all strive to be a bit more understanding; we should all strive to shine alongside this little light. One tiny light may not seem like much, but if we all glowed together, we could illuminate the world. 💡🌍

Business etiquette question: when traveling with your boss is it okay to ride your boss's coattails with regard to airline status. For example, he gets free checked bags so he will check mine with his to get higher unloading priority and to save the company a few shekels. I also use the priority lines with him when we need to go to the airline counter and when we board the plane.

I am American & travel mostly to latin American countries (since feelings towards queues might change on culture).
