I have a job which I really enjoy, working in financial aid at a different university than I attend. I love the company I work for, and I am still learning this position , but I can't afford to pay my bills and eat. I am constantly having to pick one or the other or ask for help. I make too much for food stamps, so that is not an option. From a professional standpoint is it worth it to try and stick it out for a year and hope for a raise or should I start looking for higher paying positions?

Hi Parents - My 6 yr daughter has started to develop some skin discoloration on face. It started sometime last year & we went to multiple dermatologist. They mentioned it to be pityriasis alba which resolves in few months to an year. However this has increased a bit since last year & when we saw our dermatologist again this year, he still thinks it is alba but mentioned it could be vitiligo as well. He didn't give any medicine but checking if anyone has success with home remedies with this. TIA

What would you say to an agency, if they told you the job was yours if you got within budget, that it wasn’t a competitive bid scenario, then worked with you for two weeks and several meetings, to firm up a detailed proposal, assuming an award and sow and kick off... only to reveal there was a lower bidder. At the very least, it means I’ll never work with them. But I’m not sure what to say, really. It’s like they managed to find something worse than ghosting. They lied and took us for a ride.

I’m an HR Generalist. My job is a mix of recruitment and Employee Relations. I find the recruitment aspect to be pretty enjoyable and stress free, but the Employee Relations aspect does often give me a lot of anxiety (I’m a very anxious person to begin with). Recently, it’s been worse because I have several ER cases currently that seem like they could be potentially turning into lawsuits. Do others in ER experience these anxieties? However, I'm a little concerned about stepping on each other's toes and want to give input on how this model can most effectively function.

My last agency hired back a ton of the people who were laid off (thankfully I landed a new gig, would not go back to that place). They decided to bring back 10/19 that were laid off. Unfortunately, they are notorious for doing this on multiple occasions. What are your thoughts on hiring back those you let go? And to clarify as a group we were let go not furloughed.

I asked for 125k as I currently make 110k as an associate hrbp L3 and this new offer is coming in at 105k. They said minimal wiggle room. Which I’m sure is always said. What are the band ranges for an L3 hrbp with 5 YOE
