I have a story. I went to Omega and they would sell me any watch I wanted. They also said I looked very pretty and gave me a discount. At Rolex, they laughed me out of the store and told me they don’t sell to the riff raff. So I got an Omega.

Interesting read. Thanks for posting.

I feel there are three options for us mere mortals:

- Get on “the list” for a desirable but not totally unattainable piece (like a Pepsi instead of a white Daytona). Even if it’s years out, just consider it a cool investment, but don’t dwell on it.

- Try to guess who the new Journe will be, and get one of their pieces now (Moser, Czapek, etc.)

- Release the bubble and the hype and just buy what’s quality and available. Glasshütte Original makes an awesome dive watch, and Zenith makes a cool chrono, etc.

Does anyone know the base salary range for L8 at Salesforce? This is for a Sr. Solution Architect role in CSG. Recruiter confirmed the bonus is 20% and RSU are part of TC. I have 7 YOE in the Salesforce ecosystem (19 total). I’m wondering if 190-200k base is in range.

I need help staying organized. I run a team of 6 people. Every time I ask a team member to take care of something, I need to continually follow up with them. It’s becoming burdensome. My issue is that I’m losing track of tasks. I have them written down in Excel but that is becoming burdensome. I’ve tried Asana in the past but it never fully caught on. We use Teams. Should I try organizing tasks in Teams? Other suggestions for staying organized?
