Hi Fishes,
Please help with your suggestions as I have just 2 days left for my DOJ.

2.)HCL Technologies: 21 LPA (19.3 Fixed + 8% VP)
3.)PWC AC-Banglore: 22LPA(All Fixed)
I have left the previous org in 1.1 years due to inappropriate work quality.
So I'm looking for Stability, learning & WLB majorly.

Hi Fishes, Pls help,
YOE: 13 yrs
Cctc: 13 lpa
Have cleared HCL interview. Initially they offered 23 lpa (via proposed offer letter), but i requested to reconsider it for 25 lpa.
After 5 days, they sent final offer letter of 19 lpa (stating they can offer max 50% as per L4 approval).
Queries:
1. Is this normal or rare case, reducing the offer amount from what quoted initially?
2. Should I accept or negotiate?
I don't have any other offer as of now.

There’s no layoffs just unlimited vacations
There was definitely lay-off at EY Chicago office. I think it was related to health care group? And also due to their failed 2020 goal of doubling revenue by increasing headcount.
There was no layoffs just “ performance separations “
Can confirm, FAAS "performance separated" people in September due to COVID, but I hear they are super busy and understaffed now.
Thank you for insight. Would you recommend joining this group?
I am in FAAS but not in Chicago, we did have performance separations in September but things are really busy now. FAAS has the same stability if not more than any other consulting group you are going to join. The performance based separations, while unfortunate, are still better than a lay off. It shows leadership still wanted to keep the stronger performers.
LOL did you have too much kool aid? You do realize they disguised “perf separation” as lay-off right? Sounds better on the PR front during a pandemic.
