The big difference between the two are listed below: DocuSign has more features than HelloSign such as: the ability to collaborate on documents using collaborative fields and document markups, geolocation verification, payment collection system, conditional fields and Sharepoint integration. HelloSign's features are more comprehensive than those offered by DocuSign. For example, HelloSign’s audit trail includes access to information such as event tracking, attachment upload records, signer access code authentication, and in-person signing, among other things. So I guess it would be what your company needs the most.

This is really good to now. I have only used Docusign so I am not familiar with the other one. I really like Docusign personally.

I've used Docusign for years. I've had no complaints about it. It's very straight forward and easy to use.

Anyone have advice on how to get their adult rescue dog to like (or even tolerate) a carrier or doggy tote bag? He hates anything “confining” including harnesses, bandanas, blankets, and hugs. We really need him to get used to a bag for subway and car purposes but he gets stiff as a board, and bolts the second he can. We’ve tried leaving it out to get used to, treats, placing him in and giving high value toy or treats, and he still hates it.

Am I the only one who has barely any work to do? I finish my work in a matter of a few hours, and spend my days bored out of my mind. Worst part is that I have to stay at the office until 8PM min, because otherwise it looks unprofessional. I fear that they want to fire me or that they’re unhappy with my work, but at every quarterly review, I have nothing but praise with minor comments. I realise I’m lucky, but can’t help but feel guilty, like a fraud and bored.

Suppose I have a table where column Aksts groups and column B lists subgroups (so there are multiple unique values in B for each unique value in A). With pivot tables or anything else, is there a quick way to just get the taxonomy for A and B? Basically the output would be a table that shows Group 1 in A with all of it's subgroups, followed by Group 2 and it's subgroups, etc.

Additional Posts in Small Law / Solos

Hi Everyone- I’m going solo soon after four years of being GC. Our company was sold to private equity so there wasn’t really much of a place for a GC anymore. I figured I would fulfill my lifelong dream of opening my own practice. ANYHOW- I have business and employment set up as my primary fields, but I’m curious what fields are fun, that would really lend themselves to solo work, or just be interesting to practice in. Thanks!

I have a college student wanting to intern at my new solo firm this summer. I totally can’t afford to pay her, but I also don’t plan on making her “work” but instead will teach her and add value through her internship experience. Is this permissible? Do I need to be cautious for any reason?

Any suggestions for an organizational/organization expert, coach, or someone that helps with getting firms organized? We need to be more efficient and have better systems in place.

Brief problem: We feel that we (partners) are unorganized, and as a result our staff is following the same disorganized structure and we’re not getting as much work/tasks completed as we should.

I need someone to help whip us into shape.

Managing attorneys in small firms - how much do you make?

I'm in South Florida. Currently a 6 year associate at a small firm (~12 attorneys, 55 staff). Making a move towards Managing Attorney position that they are considering hiring from outside the firm for. I'm going to make the case that they should promote from within and give me the position. I'm objectively a good candidate for it. Question is... what's a good salary for that position? What do you make? Thanks.

So I'm finally doing it, I'm starting my own firm in the next couple months.

Questions about conflicts of interest going forward. If I switch from defence and representing insurance companies, to plaintiff work, do I have a conflict because I previously was doing work for the insurance company? Or is it just those individuals that I've represented? (the ones being sued directly)

Does anyone have experience funding a solo practice without personal savings? Very low income here living in a dried up job market. My overhead is extremely low (less than $5,000 a year) but I’m worried I won’t be able to keep up with that plus my apartment rent. I have bad credit and no assets so I can’t get loans or credit cards, already tried that. No family or friends to borrow from either. I’m on my own in this but I have to get out there and do something.

Any true solos that do both transactional and litigation? I’ve only done real estate transactional work at firms and want to open shop doing primarily that but my interest has always been in litigation. Don’t know the first thing about it but wondering if I can work at a small litigation spot for a few months just to understand procedure then go out on my own and do both real estate and litigate. Thoughts?

Leaving the only home I’ve ever known (small real estate and litigation firm for last 7 years) to go out on my own. I know scared money don’t make money.
