I just realized that I have never really followed my heart. In fact, in the past 30 years, all I did was to persuade myself to ignore what my heart said and to stick with what my brain deemed as ‘the right choice’. Lived my whole life trying to fulfill others’ expectations and to maintain my image in front of others. Never took a step back to self reflect what I really wanted.

Moving to a job for a manager/controller role for a smaller company. Past coworkers put in a good word for me and basically hyped me up to their boss. I was confident about what i can deliver but now nervous about not living up to expectations! I recently applied for an EPIC trainer position within the company and according to Glassdoor the average pay is about 23k more than what I currently make.
