My partner and I may be relocating in the next year or so for his job. I finally made the move in-house last year making my tenure at my current company about 1 year. My previous firm experiences have been very toxic with the last firm I worked for causing so much unneeded stress that it caused my health to take a substantial hit. I don’t think the company I work for will allow me to move and work fully remote.

I’m starting shortly and the role is linked to the Seattle office but I would prefer to be attached to the Atlanta office (my current location) because of a parent’s health. Been with Chase Saphire Reserve for more than 2 years now. DoorDash benefit is expiring in Jan. Lyft Pink is expiring in April (not sure it will be renewed). A 500,000-1,000,000, 10 year policy isn’t too expensive. I can always cancel after a year or two when life is back to normal (fingers crossed).

Currently a second year GPS analyst (little over 1.5 YOE) making 80k. Have an offer at Fortune 100.
Base: 110k
Target bonus: 17%
Misc: 10% of base into 401k

Is it worth leaving for this or sticking it out in consulting for 1 more year. Don’t see my promo in May bringing me up to 95k and that’s probably a huge stretch.

I’m 24 years old, making 120k a year. I have about 65k saved in my. 401k, 7k in my ESPP, and 15k in my personal brokerage, no debt. I keep very little in my checking, only enough to pay bills, rent and enjoy a little. What more can I be doing to maximize my investments and extra cash. I just got a salary increase (120k) hoping to start saving more per paycheck! Any positive advice would be great. Big believer in compounding.
