I used to lose sleep over my portfolio and awards. Then I saw mediocre account people and strategists get hired to top agencies. Creatives, never lose confidence. Awards and portfolio mean nothing. If account and strategy can get to great agencies with just experience, you can too!

Someone please tell me if I am crazy. I am at a family law firm with approximately 25 attorneys. I previously worked at small shops where I essentially handled everything myself with no support staff. Now at my current firm I have a paralegal who really only makes my job more difficult… am I crazy to say that I don’t need a paralegal as I am comfortable operating as a solo and pay me slightly. I’m already pretty much operating on my own anyway. Feel like it’s a win win.

Can someone help me understand this? My mortgage payment is 907.44 with a bank that calculates interest daily. My Dec 10 statement said that 500 would go to principal, and 407 to interest, give or take pennies. Because of the bank holiday, my payment didn’t post until 1/3. Only 477 went to principal and 430 to interest. My bank says this is because of the interest tacked on through 1/3, and my next bill will calculate from 1/4. But isn’t this still a penalty?
