A good article,
Response time is something that should always be improved. I agree with the underutilization of penetration and vulnerability scanning.
A good framework with controls in place is a good foundation to establish good Cyber Hygiene.

Who would have thought
Most of the time when I WFH I actually end up working longer because there’s a lack of disconnect between the office and home. So whereas working past midnight is noticeable at the office, at home it just feels like I have something to take care of before I get ready for bed.
But hey, you do you.
Yup, same.
Is a creative traffic coordinator like a PM?
I find there are PMs who think it’s their job to keep us lazy creatives in line. When we wfh, it drives these PMs crazy because they can’t come over and crack the whip all day, even tho I always marvel at the sheer volume of work I accomplish at home since I don’t have the office’s distractions and interruptions all day (not to mention the commute time).
Anyway, shout out to the PMs who treat people like adult professionals. We know you’re not all like this.
Hard disagree. Maybe you’re the reason companies think that 🤷🏻♀️
When Facebook first came out your post was called a status update. I guess that’s what they meant? Free to scroll to the next thread. Next post. Next life.
Nop
No, it means time to focus and get 3x more work done without distractions.
Let’s stop perpetuating this stereotype.
Full disagree, I find myself getting way more shit done WFH, less interruptions/distractions, no bullshit meetings
Came here to say this. No distractions means in one WFH day I get days ahead on my jobs.
You’re the problem.
Really wish comments like yours wouldn’t taint WFH for the rest of us. And it’s a shame you would take advantage of WFH for a free day off.
I work super hard when I WFH.
Usually I am either on back to back calls or I have to jam on a deck and need time to think.
You must not do real work to begin with.
Not when I do it. But you’re one of the reasons companies balk at it.
Hm, nope. Unless you do so when there’s basically no work coming your way, and you can handle what little comes, on the go.
Ok traffic coordinator.
Hah! Nope. I have a full work desk setup at home. It’s just a very peaceful productive day.
Sort of. It means I can run a few local errands and tidy up the house in between dial-in meetings and projects. I’d still prefer that to being in the office any day.
But you don’t agree. There’s a world of difference between what tbwa 1 said and your original post. They were not describing a free day off.
A good portion of the days I work from home, it’s because I’m so busy, I can’t sacrifice commute time; I have to work literally from the moment my feet hit the floor.
That’s the opposite of what you’re saying. And to think people like you think I’m goofing off when I’m putting in an extra hard long day of work, well, it sucks. It’s unkind. It’s team destroying. You can be better.
Truth.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA sure. Tell yourself that.
That’s cute. I actually get more work done at home. Sure the longer lunch and having the TV on is nice, but I do actually work. Even when I’m sick (unless I’m throwing up, then the phone goes on silent and I rest when I can)
If I’m resizing ads, there’s no point in coming to the office. Requires zero brain power or collaboration. But you’re welcome anyway.
Hell no. I’ve worked full 12-14 hour days from home. I have never WFH and not worked at least an 8 hour day unless I was violently ill.
The kind of juvenile thinking that ruins it for everybody else.
