I adore creativity, the buzz of a team and thinking laterally as well as commercially. The pandemic has made me feel ambivalent about making ads though after ten years in.

Hello all. Looking for thoughts and opinions. I’ve been a sales manager with a small company (I refuse to say it is a start up anymore since they bring in several million in ARR). I’ve been with them for a year and a half. I started at 50k and now make 63k. I am a full-cycle sales manager…the company does not believe in the use of BDRs. There’s no opportunity for growth. Is my salary fair (per MA standards)? I was promised high OTE… but with no marketing team I also hardly get leads.

I am a 10 yr lawyer. 7 yrs in my practice area. Little over a year at current firm. Still an associate. Im at large plaintiff firm w/ billable requirements. I do mass/class cases and hold a couple leadership positions (these were competitive to get). What should salary be and when should I make partner. I’ll add I work remote and pretty autonomously. Little contact with partners or anyone at my firm.

Recruiter reached out regarding Job B at 130K with greater advancement potential but it starts out at 6 Months Contract to Hire per the agency contract. No bonus, benefits adequate by comparison. There is no guarantee to go full time.

Construction costs / inflation / Costa Rica: I am considering buying land & building a short-term vacation rental villa in Costa Rica. Sole goal is to get a 10%+ ROI (going there for holidays as extra perk).
