On a big zoom call this morning. Child walks in fully naked and COVERED in marker. I mean face, legs, hands, everything. Even better, I didn't hear them right away and a coworker had to let me know they were there via chat. Turned around and my kid looked like a soldier in army paint. Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. In a pickle here. I love dogs and SO not so much. However, we’ve been dog sitting this 8 month old pupper for one day every week since the last 2-3 weeks and it has completely converted my wife into a dog lover. I’m emotionally attached to this dog but very quickly realized this is very temporary. Plus, I don’t think either of us are ready to get a dog full time - I am assuming there will be a lot of work around it. Any suggestions on how to not get so attached with this cute lil one?
