WFH Tech Issues & Superiors- Has anyone had superiors who have multiple, persistent tech issues working from home, from headset connections on calls to video conferences that have to be paused and restarted? He’s talked to tech support a few times, but I’m unsure what I can/should do to help and feel awkward on calls with clients/co-counsel, repeatedly waiting to start/restart meetings.

Senior attorneys’ input is definitely appreciated, particularly what’s helpful vs. overstepping.

Associates, how did you balance your morning sickness and fatigue in early pregnancy with work? Thankfully I’m still WFH, but worried about receiving insane turnarounds that require me to stay up late/all night and the effect it might have on the baby. I’m past my hours for the year and feel like I should be able to say no, but the team I’m on has a tendency to push past no’s.

I’d love honest reactions to help ease my mind. I’ve been paying lower rent (like 1400) in HCOL city last few years. Finally debt free from grad school as of this year. Total comp is now low 200k. Does 2800 for rent (im looking at new leases this week) feel high? Moderate? Just want a pulse check on if I’m being reasonable with the 2800, compared to how others think about it. I think it’s ok given HCOL and I now work from home. Disclaimer: this isn’t humble brag stuff. I just want real advice.

URGENT HELP NEEDED FISHES🙏🏾

I had recently accepted an offer from PwC India.
Now one of my friend has referred me for a related position at PwC AC.
I am required to apply on the Workday portal for that. But when I login , I see "Offer Accepted" in my profile.

Though I am able to fill for the PwC AC job...
My question is if I apply for it, will they get to know about my PwC india offer and they will rescind my PwC India offer as well as not proceed with the PwC AC Interview?

Pls help🙏🏾🙏🏾

So, I'm happy at my current job and have been there about 18 months. Our pay is probably 15% below market (AmLaw 100) but so are our billable requirements. An interview for another firm kind of fell into my lap, and I'm debating whether to take it just for the sake of seeing what market really is. Is there something shady about interviewing somewhere you're not totally committed to accepting an offer from?
