Anyone have any ideas of the salary ranges in risk advisory at a director level at BDO? I saw a job post for a position in a new practice area and it looks like the position would be tasked with building out a team. Also would be grateful for insight into BDO’s work culture / work-life balance.
Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?

Those are the only ones I've used. I'll check Google and AI overviews if a company doesn't have a lot of reviews or info on either of them. It gives me a range, it's just never going to be as accurate as one that's based on real employee reviews.
They are all pretty generic, and sometimes artificially inflated, especially if you are seeing a post from say a recruiting/3rd party firm.
Example: There are positions listed for my current Contract, where the baseline salary starts above what the highest pay band is known to be, internally.
Consider the source and look for the identical job on the company website to verify. Also look for locales that have to be transparent, and then assume you'll get bottom half of that range so you have "room to grow." You can also check the cost of living adjustment for more expensive areas of the Country, and adjust accordingly.

Best thing is to connect with people in similar jobs/industry. The ranges you get online are way too broad. There a reason you see a 'senior consultant' salary range go from 70k-280K. It all depends on a ton of factors like location, technical requirements, years of experience, and then just the company its self
I normally try googling as well as Glassdoor to see what kind of salary info is out there
