I am helping my wife negotiate her salary for a promotion with her current company in the Detroit, Michigan area. She is being offered a role as a Senior Financial Analyst with an automotive manufacturer (she has already been with the company for 4 years), and she has 8 years of relevant professional experience and an MBA.

What does everyone think is a fair salary target for her to consider in this market?

I’m a CSM at a small startup based in LA but I work fully remote in the Midwest. I asked about a promotion to Sr CSM. It went really well but salary wasn’t discussed. We don’t have a great variable comp plan, so I want to make sure I make up for that in my base salary ask. I am currently at 80k (More in comments)

I recently learned from 3 different employees that left (voluntarily) they were making 98-105k. They were outside candidates and were all hired within the last year and for the same position, and same regional territory. I have worked for the company 3+ years and went from a core position, to large loss. I was given a 10k raise putting me around 78k. Yes.... some of these individuals have Lardge Losss experience but does that really make a 20-25k difference? Any advise!?

I’ve been with my employer for 3 years and I’ve been promoted three times and I’ve never had a review. I’ve been in my position now as a Regional Manager for just over a a year. I received an offer to move to a fairly large consultancy for a 60% bump in pay with a signing and annual salary bonus. Largest bonus I ever got is 1/5 of the signing alone. Got told yes for a raise 5 months ago with no movement. Today I found out my firm intends on promoting me with slightly higher pay by the end of the year and the potential for the projects I’m touching are way more prominent. I Got an offer from KGS australian region as senior 2 position and hike is 25% from current package. I heard that worklife balance is good at KGS normally it is 8-9 hrs max job in a regular day but quality of work is not at par with deloitte USI really confused about whether should i make a switch or stay back in deloitte and wait for promotion?
