Is Overtime for Jrs (law in NYC) a blessing and a curse?
I’m in talks about a promotion and looks like I’m taking a pay cut to become a AD.
Curious if anyone else has had a similar experience?
I am helping my wife negotiate her salary for a promotion with her current company in the Detroit, Michigan area. She is being offered a role as a Senior Financial Analyst with an automotive manufacturer (she has already been with the company for 4 years), and she has 8 years of relevant professional experience and an MBA.
What does everyone think is a fair salary target for her to consider in this market?
I’m a CSM at a small startup based in LA but I work fully remote in the Midwest. I asked about a promotion to Sr CSM. It went really well but salary wasn’t discussed. We don’t have a great variable comp plan, so I want to make sure I make up for that in my base salary ask. I am currently at 80k (More in comments)
I recently learned from 3 different employees that left (voluntarily) they were making 98-105k. They were outside candidates and were all hired within the last year and for the same position, and same regional territory. I have worked for the company 3+ years and went from a core position, to large loss. I was given a 10k raise putting me around 78k. Yes.... some of these individuals have Lardge Losss experience but does that really make a 20-25k difference? Any advise!?
What's the hike percentage at Accenture and how often we get promoted? Is it for 1 year or 2 year once ? And what's promotion hike we can expect when we get promoted?

a ton of luck yet. Can anyone help me out
with a referral, or just recommend

I’ve been with my employer for 3 years and I’ve been promoted three times and I’ve never had a review. I’ve been in my position now as a Regional Manager for just over a a year. I’ve asked for a review and I’m yet to get a review. I currently make 52,000 a year. I feel like I should be getting paid more and I’m now wondering how go about asking for a raise?
Intern to full-time raise? Current TC: 96k (78k base + 18k bonus). How much should I ask for the full-time role? (PM at a fintech startup in LA)
I received an offer to move to a fairly large consultancy for a 60% bump in pay with a signing and annual salary bonus. Largest bonus I ever got is 1/5 of the signing alone. Got told yes for a raise 5 months ago with no movement. Today I found out my firm intends on promoting me with slightly higher pay by the end of the year and the potential for the projects I’m touching are way more prominent. I’m still going to bring this new offer to my leadership, but does anyone have advice?
I am currently working as Audit senior assistant at deloitte USI and my promotion is due in upcoming June month in deloitte. How soon is too soon to ask for a raise? I know the raises in this industry are usually pretty standardized, so wanted to hear some insight about this topic. Thanks!
I'm new to EY and consulting in general. Does anyone know what is the average salary hike for promotion from Senior to Manager and for Seniors in non-promotion year?
Would you take a 40% raise to work at a consulting start-up? Feeling imposter syndrome already.

We are often told, we are not asking the right questions in our early dating phase and break up only with a disappointment. What are the right questions to ask on the date? Can we make a list here?
Just had a client tell me that if we write one of our deficiencies in the management letter, they’ll be looking for a new auditor. Please remind me why we do this job again.

I’ve been in life underwriting for over 20 years and honestly have never enjoyed it. The strictly production related work is hard for me to stay focused and be interested in the job. Any ideas on what else I can do and still make decent money? I’ve always found it pretty stressful and would prefer a less stressful position.

I stumbled across my engagement ring while cleaning the house today. I saw the box but I didn’t open it and it’s taking every ounce of my body to not. Would you peak at it? For reference - we picked it out together so the ring itself isn’t a surprise. I just haven’t seen it yet 🙈
I have received opportunity to sit for McKinsey’s games assessment. I have no clue about it. It will be great if some one can advise me about it.
