I loved jury duty. So interesting. But I also like true crime so that made it more exciting for me.

Jury duty is the tits if you get on a real case. Otherwise it's just like being on the beach for a week but you can't work from home.

Bring a kindle and catch up on reading.

I recently took a job with a top tier investment manager, which is a step up in title and responsibilities. I went through the typical “notice” conversations with my current employer. My boss, who was a significant supporter and mentor of me during my time at my current firm, told me that he doesn’t think my new firm is “long term” for me. Anyone ever get something like this before? It threw me off because I was hoping for his support, understanding that it’s tough for him temporarily
