Has any of your employer used PIP as a way to fire you? I'm a female POC just getting started in my entry level role and my company does not have a history of using PIP on their associate, but after I gave their academy training a bad review in the survey, my manager is trying to put my on a PIP while the people who started out at the same time are not on it. Does any one of you work in a company that hires contractors overseas?

My company covers in depth results each week, including meetings set/attended, wins, revenue, retention etc. I feel as if evaluating in such depth is detrimental to the psyche, as you never get to “ride the high.” In addition, some weeks are simply slower than others, and it’s not always representative of what the results at the end of the period or quarter will be. Is this not a big deal, and I’m I placing too much importance on it? Or is it beneficial to review results less frequently?

Looking at Saas sales for supply chain/planning software as an account exec. Base is low so I’d have to bank on commissions. Anyone in a similar role concerned about hitting targets with looming recession and possibility of low conversion?
