Received an offer from a startup today, the salary they are offering me is 30% below my current salary - offered them my range during the interview but they stuck to their initial salary when they sent me the offer. No 401k, no WFH, but they have unlimited PTO. They are also offering me 10k shares of common stock (25% vested 1 year after the date vesting begins and the remaining on a monthly basis over the next 3 years). How does this translate to $ amount?

Thoughts on hiring marketing and BD services to drum up consulting business? I have avoided it for six years and have been totally unimpressed with the cold-call mills that have approached me - feel like they would not do anything but destroy my reputation with the senior company people I need to connect with. I'm also not interested in paying a salesman to learn my business and, maybe, sell something (maybe). Any success stories with marketing and BD firms?

Any ideas on fun team bonding events/games to improve culture in a new remote tech startup? Very small team with long work hours, we are trying to build a people culture but hard because we can’t see much of peoples personalities through Zoom meetings much.
