What about teachers who are retiring early due to a gross lack of covid mitigation measure?

We are losing good people either way! Do what’s right!

I’ve submitted my retirement form ( not prematurely)and am saddened at what seems to be a rather sophomoric debate as to whether one should or shouldn’t . Barring legitimate medical conditions which jeopardize an individual’s health ( verified by a physician), everyone should be vaccinated.
The’ freedom’ argument is so much poppycock.

I agree completely. If some coworkers losing their jobs could protect others from losing their lives that's what needs to happen.

My first therapy appointment tomorrow! I’ve never dealt with depression before having my second kid and my PPD was/is rough! Filling out the intake form I basically had to list out all the things I’ve dealt with - rape, mom issues, death in family during pandemic, kid hit by car, ppd, and a slew of over things… looking forward to working through these things over time, whatever that might look like.

Has anyone just been feeling pretty sad and down these past few months? I’ve never really felt this way pre-pandemic but now no matter what I do (workout, talk to friends, yoga) I still feel waves of sadness. I live in a cold city with strict covid lockdowns so I know that that is contributing to my sadness but just wanted to see if anyone else feels like this and how you are coping? I also haven’t traveled or gone on many social outings since last March so Ik that is taking a toll on me as well

Capgemini I joined sometime back at D1 level , I do technical work most of time like coding, dev, testing etc.
I have worked a lot in my 14 years and still have required skills needed for the work. I don't have energy to slog any further. Moreover I get anxiety when I see junior level people doing same work as me and earning more or same.
I feel cannot sit longer hrs due to back issues and other health issues and family commitments.

Can I change to management side without risking my job .

Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. There are so many major issues in this company that I don’t know if I want to subject my mental health to this degree of toxicity. I just don’t know how to move forward from here.
