What advertising conferences would it be helpful for an entry level professional to invest in going to? SXSW? Ad Week? 3%?

Rather than conferences, commit to a learning path through the likes of Online Marketing Institute and General Assembly. Read voraciously. Be an expert in those areas that your clients value. Once you have committed to this, become an even better teacher for your team.

Cannes is amazing for networking. You don’t have to buy the week pass. There are a lot of off events. Like you can go to the FQ Lounge and introduce yourself to the speakers easily there. Pretty high quality and easy access. Also people at Cannes are just so chill and open. You can easily make friends there like nowhere else where people are still focused on their work and don’t really want to talk as much.
