What advice do you have for someone who wants to make a quick and seamless transition from operations to creative?

I currently work in Private (GA) Aviation & have for some time (about 12 years) I’m currently making the switch to the Department of Aviation and am unsure if I should ditch my current job (in private) and go full force with the DOA & embrace this new opportunity educationally and gather as much experience as I can or keep both jobs even though I’d be working 80hr weeks.. I love the private world but am really ready to move up. I don’t know what I should do. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone, current job has obnoxiously long notice period and they won’t let me leave for health reasons. Wondering what my options are if there are any? I never signed a contract for my second year in and definitely did not have an opportunity to renegotiate my terms for my second year at the job. I finally was able to convince my principal that we need a consistent math intervention at the MS level (grades 5-8). (Right now, we are just "doing our own thing," which isn't helping students progress much.) Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be beneficial to have some sort of progress monitoring tool as part of the program, if possible. Our classes run roughly 55 minutes (which is too long for an intervention, in my humble opinion).
