Is it worth jumping to Deloitte (offer in hand currently) in order to position myself better for FAANG 3-5 years down the line? Other options include staying at BAH or trying to get into MBB.
Any recommendations for a career coach? I'm a mid-level looking towards promotion to senior associate so looking for coaching on management and bd (but not opposed to advice on exit opportunities, just don't know much about intentionally charting a career path beyond stick it out at the firm) Cross posting, I'm a WOC (Asian)

23 y/o Recent MIS graduate Hello I’m looking for some tips on where to apply for consulting/entry-level roles in the Dallas area. I graduated May 2020 with my degree in MIS and have been working as a teller since. Also I’m interested in what areas of IT I should focus on building skills in. I appreciate all tips and advice! I’m a few months into my search at this point and I need a new strategy. (I’ve done a bulk of leg work already searching on job sites, revising resume, interview prep)
If I used a recruiter to get into my current position, and I leave before a full year, do I or the recruiter have to pay my employer back the placement fee, or a portion thereof?
Exited to a new gig about 4 months ago and starting to get uneasy about layoffs. Seems like it’s starting to be discussed...so do I let it ride or start applying?
Has anyone here gone from phone discussions/interview to an offer? No onsite or serious interview.
So I had my final interview yesterday in the industry (it was more so a 20 min convo with their CIO). Is it too early to follow up? I would never be pushy but I have another offer that I’m sitting on (as I would prefer the job that I interviewed for yesterday) so I need an answer asap
Passed the DoorDash onsite for an S&O Manager role! The last round is an interview with a director. Anyone who’s gone through this previously? Anything I should know in terms of what to expect, how to best prepare, etc?
I applied to Apple 6 weeks ago and haven’t heard back but just got a “rate your experience applying” auto-generated email. Safe to assume it’s a no? 🤷🏼♀️
Anyone in economic consulting looking into exit opportunities in business intelligence/ strategy? I feel the work is too narrow in scope
So I had an HR interview with PWC for manager in DDV after being referred. They said they would reach out about next steps. I followed up a week later and was told they’re still trying to schedule. Followed up again and my email was bounced back as undeliverable. I think they left, but I have no other contacts in recruiting. Any advice?PwC
I am looking to go in-house and I thought all of the interviews went well at one company. A week after my last interview, the internal recruiter contacted me just to touch base. 3 days later, I received an offer from another company and I contacted the recruiter from the job I want to tell her and she said she would check with the hiring manager and that we should she responded, “stay in close touch.” I emailed today casually to see if there was any update. No answer, any insight into why?
Anyone interviewed for any roles with Amazon FinTech? How's the team? What was the process like and what is the $ like?
Hi fish need some advice. I want to get a job in the finance industry, specifically in quant. I don’t know many people outside of consulting so I’ve been applying blindly without a referral which hasn’t worked. What are some tips to help expand my network?
Why do recruiters/team members not pass over feedback. Thought I absolutely crushed the interviews but got turned away. Just trying to improve...

Left Deloitte audit after my M1 year. Thinking coming back after two years of industry. Think Deloitte will give me credit for M2 and M3 and come back as SM1? FP&A Manager role for last 2 years
I started working in a agency two months ago, and I have two very big projects running simultaneously. My Creative Director left for paternity leave, and left me with all the work, facing the client, going to shootings, editing. I've been working 15 days straight, no weekends. The agency hasn't given me any back up/someone I can team up with to do the job. Is this normal? I'm used to have a partner, a copywriter or another creative working alongside. Keep in mind that I'm mid-level.

Ex-Consulant here that now works for a big name Real Estate Investment Trust. Saw on LinkedIn that EY has an America’s REIT Leader. Didn’t know that much attention was paid to the REIT space. Are there really consulting teams dedicated to the REIT space in the Big 4? Love working for a REIT and would love to jump back to consulting if there were teams dedicated to the industry.
Big Oof. Deloitte are managing a Covid-19 testing centre in the UK (in addition to other centres and the logistics between) and yep, they suck at it. I know partners will bid for anything but wow.

I'm moving to Austin from NYC, with the Mrs. and 2 young kids. We are pretty set on Lake Travis ISD, but I'm curious about neighborhoods. Ideally, we are looking for areas made up of young families (preferably with cultural diversity), and things to do. We are looking around Lakeway & Bee Cave, but are certainly open to any reccos.
Sitting in my office drinking coffee enjoying my last day. Only have a 2 day break before starting new role next week, but damn does it feel good.
If anyone wants a referral to L.E.K. AND wants a CUT OF THE REFERRAL BONUS, message me instead of the others :D
I lost my last job a few weeks before Christmas last year and it took me a long while to find a new one. Ultimately I ended up moving to a new city for a job I was really excited about. However, within the first few weeks I suffered a major medical setback which led to a crippling bout of depression. I am finally starting to feel like a person again but I'm afraid the ship has sailed on my having success in my new role.
