I’m currently working at a law firm in San Diego specializing in coastal property rights as a litigation paralegal and legal assistant. We received a minute order from a preliminary injunction hearing. Our client was ordered to post an injunction bond of $2,500. First our client walked to the courthouse to try to pay the bond up front, but they would not accept his money. He tried to call several bond companies, but all said the amount was too small. So how do you post an injunction bond?

Looking at HRIS options with a client, 35 staff. They are currently using Namely but it is clunky and doesn’t include some of the things they want (integrated ATS, documents, onboarding and offboarding checklists, time off tracking). ADPRun current payroll and are considering Rippling, BambooHR, and Paylocity. Using JazzHR as an ATS right now but would like to fold that into the HRIS so that they can use those dollars for a more robust perf mgmt system. Any thoughts on these or others?

Question: I currently work as an inside sales account manager selling a wide portfolio of IT products. Less mcqs and more sims. I like sims better for far than mcqs for some reason. While the opposite for audit since it's more subjective. Plus the 15 minute break is nice. Took 12 minutes to drink use the bathroom and just clear my mind before hitting the home stretch. But do expect from DRS sims. I got 3! But I don't find those hard, just very time consuming since the overwhelming amount of info they throw at you.

I have an offer for a PE Ops role and whilst comp is good it seems like they're hiring a pool of internal consultants to leverage for implementation projects within specific PortCos and therefore I won't be driving initiatives centrally - is this standard practice for Ops roles?
