McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company been working here one year and received pretty positive feedback. Given the expectation for people of my tenure to transition to EM in a year or so, I can’t see myself staying due to the WLB as an EM. I’m 35 and have 2 young kids. Can it even be realistically done? We are already ready for that. But then we prefer to do a webex while we are at client. Because we are a smart breed.

Depends on what you sre doing. Traditional business case work can likely be done mostly offsite.
A lot of my work could move to 50/50 model...a lot of "collaboration" sessions with executives to design their new OpModels / Org Designs. I could get away with smarter planning around onsite vs offsite if they didn't like having me around as their confidant...
So I work from their office for their random questions and it makes them more comfortable.
