I would never trust an account team to get me what I need from a client in order to produce projects.

This sure got salty in a hurry.

Then you’d have to work with account team and they could be worse imo.

Slalom Consulting 🐠 How did you prep for your case? From what I understand (I could be wrong), it’s more focused on the logistics of an engagement (how would you structure/approach the project, engage stakeholders, etc.) as opposed to traditional “should Company A enter Market X”. If my assumption is correct, the standard case prep doesn’t seem like it would be beneficial. Are there any other materials you used?

Currently working for a global tech company on a decent-ish salary where I've been two years. The work is ok. It can be interesting at times, and most of the time I'm left to my own devices to get on with my work. I randomly applied for a higher level director position with a competitor on a similar role (less client exposure, more internal work) and now been offered the role with a 33% pay increase, but now I'm not sure whether to accept for the upheaval etc. Any advice?

I’m currently working at a law firm in San Diego specializing in coastal property rights as a litigation paralegal and legal assistant. We received a minute order from a preliminary injunction hearing. Our client was ordered to post an injunction bond of $2,500. First our client walked to the courthouse to try to pay the bond up front, but they would not accept his money. He tried to call several bond companies, but all said the amount was too small. So how do you post an injunction bond?

Any tips for prepping on a move to a new role? Starting new role at Accenture (tech delivery), coming from industry, no idea what to expect. I mostly worked on smaller scale projects, a lot of them internal. I have a month, so can do some prep work (courses, network, books, etc) to not be fully lost. Don't know where to start (client work, all the new technologies used, multiple industries, pure size of the organisation). Also, should I add any of my interviewers on LinkedIn? Is that normal?
