However, I have made a career change somewhat recently (about 1.5 years ago) so I am not really experienced in the tech industry. Would having kids be detrimental at this point in my career (is it always detrimental)? Has anyone had experience of having a big career in Tech and being a mum? Any tips or advice?

Designing a new bridge, creating a new car, and building a new skyscraper. These types of projects require input from engineers who specialize in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and architecture, among other disciplines, to be completed successfully.
