I just got an email from a recruiter from Google!
Omgomgomgomg
He said that the position is in the Bay Area or New York. I haven’t replied the email. I don’t think we can move to those cities, but I don’t want to lose this opportunity. Does anyone know if Google does remote jobs within US?

Best case scenario? You win the lotto. Use the money to develop a time machine. Go back in time and invest what you have left in super early Apple, Amazon, etc and get super rich. Relive the life that you've had but being a freaking gagilionare just having fun and checking off everything you know you've regretted not doing. Then once you get to present day play the lotto again with the same numbers. Boom even richer.
How much did you bet? Enough to build a time machine?
Outside of federal no one cares about federal. The brand on your CV and how you position yourself through descriptions of your accomplishments matter more! You have the same exit opps as a commercial consultant

Assuming you're in the DC area and plan to stay local, here are probably the top destinations:
1) Flip your badge and become a fed
2) If you've got a tech background, join Capital One
3) Fannie Mae is close to C1 in terms of pay, but is significantly smaller
#2 and #3 are there primarily because they pay better than fed consulting. If that kind of work isn't up your alley, then they're probably not great options.
Other companies like Hilton and Marriott are big exits, but they tend to not pay as well as C1 and FM from what I understand.
