First of all, well done for having an asian (I assume) accent and getting a job at BCG! That must mean that you are brilliant in your own right.
I personally am from SEA, but English is my first language. What I’ve done is been watching lots of American tv shows and just kinda repeat words that I felt was hard to spontaneously say on a day to day basis.
The key is to enunciate the T, th’s and s’s. And take your time speaking! If you’ve watched amazing speeches online by people like Obama, they really do take their time speaking. There’s no hurry!
If you’re ever unsure about how to pronounce a word, make sure to whip out YouTube - most words have a how to pronounce video!
Make sure to watch it tree times if you are not sure :p
Are you a native English speaker looking to improve conciseness?
Or non-native wanting to improve feel of the language.
Obvious resource I can think of here is pyramid principle - a comms book used at Mck to train on top down comms
Try professional speaking coaches.
I know some are covered under health insurance, they can help you adapt your accent US style.
It's hard to change your accent too much, don't worry about changing these things that much.
Remember that you don't need to follow all feedback - only feedback you think is worth following
Read non-stop, especially business press (e.g. WSJ, HBR, etc). It's important to learn how business concepts are phrased, and also the idioms and analogies that are used. Idioms and analogies will bring your communications to life. I would also suggest writing as much as possible - and finding a way to get feedback on your writing. I've worked with non-native speakers who do the above well, and their accents become a non-issue. Good luck!
