You should if you can afford to not use your HSA funds and let it grow. It's the only triple tax advantaged account.

Depending on where it is, I'd invest it in something like VTSAX or FSKAX/FZROX.

It’s the best retirement account. It grows tax free, interest free and is a deduction from income.

In my HSA, I'm doing aiming for 75% VTI/QQQM and 25% VXUS.

From the 75% bucket, I think I will have 20% of that consist of QQQM.

like

You should invest if you can, VTSAX or FSKAX

I’m curious to hear from people at other firms what is offered in terms of part time work or alternative work options for people that don’t really care about making partner and might want to work part time. I just had my second child and want to ask to come back from maternity leave on a part time basis but our firm doesn’t seem to have anything in place right now. If your firm offers this, what’s the billable requirement, how much of a pay cut is it, and do you still get benefits? Thanks!

Ally bank dropping rates again. CD a good choice?

I have a Rollover and SEP IRA alongside my current 401k.

My Roth account has the lowest balance because historically I've taken the tax deduction for pre tax contributions to the SEP and Rollover.

I understand if I contribute the money to Rollover and then backdoor to Roth, I will pay tax pro-rata based on the contribution percentage of total Rollover/SEP account balance (majority tax on funds that have grown).

Q: Can I open another traditional IRA solely for the purpose of the backdoor?

I have about 18k in graduate student loans that are on pause till 5/2022 and have about 23k in cash. Assuming no other debt, what's the best way to handle this? My employer 401k and my personal IRA are both managed by Vanguard. I just realized how much my vanguard 2050 retirement 401k plan (VFIFX) is underperforming compared to the SP500 last 10 years.

Is there anything I can do with my Employer 401k account? The account doesn’t seem to let me pick my own stocks/funds. Can I transfer a portion of my 401k to my personal IRA, and rebalance from there, when I’m still working at the company?

Help! I'm afraid I might be doing something wrong. I am paying for my Traditional IRA with my salary (so after tax). When I withdraw it, it will also be taxed. Where is the benefit?

HHI is $265 and I believe we will be in a lower tax bracket when we retire (hence not using roth)
