Not gonna lie - I've used the "I'm an immigrant and I don't know how long I'll be in the country" excuse to get out of pushy sales pitches. I’ve received an offer to be an OM at a startup but will also have EA duties. Frankly, over the course of the interviews, the job description has changed several times. It appears I would be expected to help 3 C-suite, the VP Operations, and some of the BizDev team (assuming I accept of course).

Hi, I am working in F500 company and moving from US to Canada due to visa constraints. I have been offered 10% increase to move from US salary to Canada salary. Is it a norm? Do companies actually convert the salaries using some Fx rate or they give around this same bracket. Really appreciate some opinions or stories if they have been in the same boat.

So I was hoping I could get some advice! I went through the interview process with a fintech company. At the end of all interviews the recruiter told me the manager was attempting to open a more junior role to better fit my experience but they weren’t sure “if or when she would get the approval”. The recruiter even asked if I was in the interview process with any other companies. This was 3 weeks ago, I followed up once, do I keep following up with the recruiter or do I drop it and move on??

Offer included temporary housing and moving expense reimbursement…it’s been a month since I began working and 2 months since I started moving but still no reimbursement…should I escalate this? How long is too long?
