I work in insurance. I was working for an Allstate agent and was fired the day after my grandmothers funeral for being “unenthusiastic in our morning meeting”. Now I’m having anxiety searching for a job. I don’t think I want to sell anymore yet every single recruiter I interview with says I should, that I have a “salesperson mentality”. I’m burnt out. Has anyone else felt this way? How did handle it? Is there a different career path I can take or am I destined to sell insurance forever?
Folks, Comments the companies you personally know that pays for the roles irrespective of the candidates past salary.

Venty is a new social app that makes it easy to find people nearby to enjoy social activities. No swiping needed! You create activities you want to do and users nearby send you requests to join. Venty is designed for real connections and purpose-driven dates. Please download and review our app on the App and google app stores.

Hi all. Looking for advice. I’m trying to decide between 2 job offers (same salary) but different positions. One is a study director (essentially a project manager for a medical device company) and the other is in Quality Assurance (medical device company as well). Study director position company is slightly smaller but growing. I really want growth possibilities and a good career future. Any advice?
I've been working remotely for the past two years, and it's been great. I love working from home and being able to watch my kids grow up through their eyes as they play around me. But sometimes, when you're in this kind of situation, it's hard to know what to talk about with your coworkers.

What would be your top 10 holdings you’d recommend to an investment newbie? Assume all debts paid off and want to start accumulating wealth outside of retirement accounts.
What would you change? This is my regular taxed account. VTI - 45%
VIG - 15%
VWO - 20%
VEA - 20% - it’s my Wealthfront portfolio I created years ago when there was zero customization. Now with all the choices and the ability to tinker, I’m a little overwhelmed.
I see everyone screaming “buy the dip”. If you are going to I advise the strategy I learned when I started out 10/20/30, 1/2/3. Invest 1/3 of your cash on the sidelines when the stock falls 10%, another third at 20% and the rest at 30%. Definitely helped in March. This assumes you did your OWN research and analysis on the stocks you purchased. Junk is junk no matter what price you bought it.
I am 29 and total NW is ~$300K. However, nearly 40%(120K) of them are tied to retirement account and thus I wouldn’t be able to touch it until 60 in general (assuming not taking loans or early withdrawal).
If I add all my cash and liquidate stocks in regular brokerage, I only have 180K that I can use right now. Is my portfolio too heavy on retirement portion? Should I focus on building more assets on non-retirement side
If investing in S&P 500 index funds (VOO/INX/SPY) is a sound strategy, why not invest in its leveraged ETF SPXL? VOO has grown by 195% over 10 years and SPXL the 3x leveraged ETF on SPX/SPY has....

Hello everyone, I'm trying to get into real estate investing. Some of the books I've read have talked about buying a multi unit property and utilizing investors to get the necessary capital. Does anyone have experience in getting investors? How do you identify investors who may be interested? Are there any sites where you can invest in or post investment opportunities?
Thank you in advance.
