Alright all, I’ve been TTC since July and have had one miscarriage. Ready to get serious. Do I really need to cut back on alcohol and/or go keto? Do those things make a difference? Already on supplements.

Not a consulting question: I screwed up big time in my relationship 2 years ago. I split with someone because I did not have the conviction to be vulnerable and fight for her with my parents. Truth is I gave up too soon and really broke her heart. She’s been through hell and back since, had to see a therapist. It’s been 2 years now. She’s still single but she’s practically over me. I now know I could have done a 99 things differently. I think about reconciliation a 1000 times a day. What do I do?
I just started job searching; the next time I speak with a recruiter, I’m wondering if I should give them a realistic number or lie with my optimal salary (how much I would want to make)? For more context, one of my friends adds her own “tax” 20% above the budget range. As a Black professional, should I try that?
I’m not American, have no SO, and can’t seem to go home or do much traveling domestically either because of COVID. Any inspiration from people in similar situations on how to spend 2 weeks of PTO time before it expires..?

Hello Everyone my name is Cerena Brown. I’m a makeup artist, soon to be licensed cosmetologist and content creator. What is wrong with me!!!! I am 27 and recently got married and just got a government job but I feel like I am not passionate about my job. I do not love my job the way I did before but I need the money so I can’t just quit and leave. Like if I start my own business then I don’t want to look like I am being lazy because I have a husband and expect him to take care of me and if I stick with this job then I will get depressed. Is it just me or anyone else feeling like this.
Co-Founder here. I have 25% of the company, and the other 2 cofounders have 10% and 65%. The 10% cofounder hardly does anything anymore. The 65% co-founder still seems dedicated and I think it’s largely because of sunk costs (this person put in most of the money). I don’t believe in the startup anymore, which seems to be a good indication it’s time to quit. Any advice for quitting and leaving your company in an even worse state as a result? Thanks 🙏

A 3 year old startup has incurred expenses worth $2.5M till date and a revenue of $1M. They are currently at a negative $1.4M EBITDA and have come up with a valuation of $3M. Is this seem reasonable? How can I get a better understanding of their valuation?
How do entrepreneurs deal with burnout? A colleague of mine recently reached out to me to share that he was experiencing some burnout and lack of motivation. I shared that I feel the same, but off and on. I was wondering how others deal with this? I was telling him that I was thinking about taking time off to do a fellowship to experience something new or simply taking a few months off. Any thoughts?
I’m at a Career crossroads.
I never got really good at one trajectory and was always that early hire that “wears many hats” and does “all the things”. I find my self stuck in this temp role where I’m just really good at holding things together until the startup gets their structure together. I’ve automated or phased myself out of most of my roles. I also run event management company on the side but it’s very unstable.
I’m a new mom and seeking some stability and a real career. Any advice?

How much rejection and doubt is normal in the earliest stages of a start up? I’m trying to hire some early employees and everyone keeps passing or not responding. When I do talk to folks, they aren’t interested. Could it just be that the business idea sucks? Is this normal in the early stages?
Thoughts on going on your own and starting a sustainability consulting group? I feel like the market has a real need for businesses to shift their business models to have more of a net zero carbon emission impact. Good or bad idea?

I’m looking for feedback on a startup idea. It’s a professional social media site with primarily two product features. 1) professionals posting about their thoughts, ideas..etc. it will be a single page of content that users can scroll and read. (Similar to TikTok) however the scroll would be right to left. 2) anyone would be able to ask Questions to a professional. They would be incentivized by giving a payout to answers they write.
This platform would have a $5/month subscription fee.
Do any of you guys have an Etsy shop and want to tell me their experience on it? Im having sales but commissions are killing me, thanks!
