What are great small/med tech companies people have moved onto after ~2-3 yrs of consulting? Are you happier with the culture?

Advice please- During the pandemic I moved onto an account that is run out of another office location, so I will be able to WFH when we need to return to the office (my dream!), but I was just offered a job at my dream company (L’Oréal), but will need to be in the office 3x/week ASAP/no agency holidays. I love beauty and want to grow in my career and go client side, but I’ve never been happier working from home/value work/life balance. (Also any insight on the culture there?) Appreciate it!

Considering switching to another big 4 in the same advisory group. The honest reason is to get early promo and more $$$ by switching. What can I say in interviews if people ask why I’m looking to leave? Can’t say clients or prestige since the firm I am at has the most prestige/best clients for this practice. Can’t say anything about my teams/culture because that’d look bad and honestly isn’t even the case. How do I answer this question? Can I just say I want better comp/promo?

Made a transition from consulting to industry. After 3 years. Can I just say how much better it is. The culture, team, scope of work, etc. Also, it seems to be much easier than consulting, still challenging but in a healthy way. Doing meaningful work rather than drowning in nonsense just to “deliver”. First time I feel like my team actually cares about me. Now I’m that person that hates consulting. Never again. For those trying to make an exit, do it! After 3 years you burn out.

I left biglaw after 3 years to a mid-size firm. Took a pay cut but the hours, people, culture and work were so much better I never thought twice about the salary or “prestige.” Ultimately I started 2 very small firms. I am not rich by biglaw standards but I have a very comfortable life and put my kids through college with no debt. 35 years after leaving big law, people are still impressed when I say I started there. I feel like I still had the benefits of the connection w/o the suffering.

Any thoughts on AKA, the arts, Broadway, and culture advertising agency? Insight to what it is like to work there?

So i recently quit an organisation. I had been working with them for a few years. It was a full time job with them but on contract. They didn't provide me any kind of maternity benefit not even paid leave. Can anything be done about it? Or is it normal for companies to not give contract workers any kinda benifit?
