Does novartis paused hiring ? I have completed all my rounds and have been waiting for an offer to roll out. But the recruitment team is saying hiring is on hold as review meetings are going we don't know when they will start it. Does anyone know when will they resume hiring process again.

I got through all the rounds of interviews (including 2 technical panels) at CrowdStrike before being assured that I was nearing the end of the process and was expected to receive an offer soon… almost two weeks ago now? Anyone else experienced this kind of delay from CS or similarly sized organizations? Did I get ghosted? Anything more I should be doing?

Probably not the most unconventional but I’d be keen to learn of the position is new or the previous person has left, and if so then why. What challenges to expect and support will be provided during the probation period.
This question is so tired. I never understood the point in asking this because
1. The company has no obligation to tell you
2. The company/ HR manager can lie
3. If they say ‘they were terminated’, how does it affect you?
Here's something I saw on IG about 30/60/90 goals: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cdn7xaNDMTs/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
I saved the post because I think a good interview question would be to ask "I'd like to set 30/60/90 day goals for myself. What kinds of milestones would you like for somebody in xyz position to reach in 30/60/90 days"
If there's a recent news article about the company you're interviewing with, ask the interviewer what they think. This is good because
1) it shows off your research/interview prep
2) it allows the interviewer to give their opinion, and people love talking about themselves and sharing their thoughts.
Example: "I was reading that xyz company just acquired ABC company. How exciting! What do you think about that?"

I’ve found it insightful to ask “What other applications do you currently have out?”
For one, this will tell you if they are staying in a specific field, or jumping around everywhere.
Second, it will allow you to sell your company and position better, knowing what their options are.
