What are MBB starting salaries for analyst equivalents in Singapore now? Would love any data points people have!

In a Big4 deal Analytics group that’s not premier with no path to partner... should I try to move to MBB/T2 to gain traditional consulting experience or try for tech/FAANG... I just wanna make money

Hi energy fish, I’m currently in the process of breaking into the energy industry. My education is in energy engineering but I got sidetracked. Now, what is better as a pivot point for later exits and continued career path in energy: A) joining Guidehouse in the energy team or B) joining a T2 in the energy team or C) joining MBB as a generalist but network my way into energy work? I have left with salary negotiation round with HR at kpmg, current package 14.7( 12 fixed + 2.7variable) in current company
If i wl leave now i am loosing 2.7 lakh variable pay of this year + 10-15 % annual hike which i will be getting in this financial end.
How much should I ask from kpmg HR?
What all possible points should i keep on table to negotiate the package ? May suggest few points.
Also what other bonuses/allowances should i ask prior joining?

What is more sustainable: partner at MBB or at Big4 strat team?

Fortunate to be able to choose between both for a pre-Partner role, and while my younger self would have gone to MBB, being now a family person the perceived idea of less travel (Europe, not US based) and a more lenient up-or-out policy is making me lean towards the latter.

Having decided to stay in consulting for the long run, am I selling myself short? Also, is talent, projects and clients so different as MBB tries to convey?

My company’s SOP template has a table of contents and a section at the top where the SOP owner is supposed to add a short statement containing the “Why” of the SOP, meaning a statement about what the SOP is supposed to solve for/ accomplish. A co-worker recently told me that it should also contain a checklist of the 4-5 main points of what the team member should know how to do after reading the SOP…. This seems really redundant to me. Question for BCG 🐠, about to start in the firm as a consultant and looking at the options for the phone and everything seems to be quite expensive. I was thinking buying the cheapest which is the iphone SE but care to say if there is any software that might limit the phone that I would need to use? Or it is just email and calls and that is it? Also, why not allow android? For some of the prices in the list I could get a nice Android phone rather than a year old iphone.
