My company has 12 weeks paid leave but I know they provide also short term leave/disability through Unum..does anybody know if you can short term disability during pregnancy like last month while you wait for the due date? I know most of the people that don’t have paid leave uses STD as main maternity leave, but what about when companies have paid maternal leave?

Almost a year ago I quit consulting and went to do a medical checkup after realising I had tingling sensations in my feet and kept drinking liters of water a day.

Turned out I had type 2 diabetes and my cholesterol was so far of the scale they couldn’t make an accurate reading.

Now a year in, after diet change and exercise Im back in optimal range and reducing my diabetes meds.

For me it was the stressful job that often ended in alcohol and greasy food consumption. Take care of your health.

I am a skilled nursing facility biller and collector for Medicare & Insurance, my job can absolutely be remote but the company I work for refuses to allow employees to work remotely.
