Hi! I’m a second year associate in Internal Audit at a big four. I passed all 4 CPA exams while working FT and I’m trying to find an exit opportunity within the forensic accounting industry. I’m open to trying out fruad, investigations, etc. My current role has me trained to multi-task with multiple clients and topics. I was wondering what I could potentially do to get my foot in the door for FTI Consulting AlixPartners and Alvarez & Marsal? Advice/referral on this would be greatly appreciated.
Are there sufficient projects for java developers in Lead role in epam anywhere? I have an offer but not sure if it would be wise to join epam anywhere in lead role considering many people are saying that they are on bench. Maybe people working with EPAM Anywhere can update us on current state of the situation there.

Sunday play date!
Why not? Nothing to lose by doing so, worst that can happen is they don’t respond.
How would you know you are a good fit if you know no one...?
Do you have any connection to them (ie alum?)
By really qualified do you mean you have IB experience in the coverage or product group youre looking to join?
I’d honestly start hitting up an analyst or associate that you have something in common with. Much more helpful if it’s an alum or if you have a friend in common and your friend can reach out on your behalf.
Literally nothing to lose by reaching out. The worst thing that could happen is they don’t respond or say no. Your chances are obviously greater by making the effort to reach out versus doing nothing at all. An analyst at my firm somehow pulled a rabbit out of a hat landing himself a job that way. You never know...
Probably better to use someone junior to get to better know the firm and then try to connect with someone more senior
you can reach out to the group head and a junior person you might have a connection with. like others mentioned, it’s can’t hurt unless you write something dumb or make a typo.
