According to Insead (not specific to MBB but I'm guessing close if you look at the 3rd/4th quartiles)
Yeah it was Usd.
I read this as the upper bound being the max. Could be a sample of 1 making the range seem wider. The interquartile range is actually quite narrow.
MBB + Tier 2 is about €130k p.a. (incl. Bonus, excl. Car deal) for Germany
I know that consulting salaries are lower in Southern Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy, France)
Europe is not a single country. Depends where in europe you want to go.
Switzerland (not EU but geographically Europe) pays more than US but has much higher CoL
Portugal vice versa

Just something to add to this. If you are applying to MBB (even to a US office) they will know the intl MBA programmes. We have a lot of hires from INSEAD and LBS in particular (similarly to HBS, wharton, stanford), but also I know that we extended offers also to a few other schools in the same way we extend offers to other US schools too. So I wouldn’t base your MBA decision purely on that if you are looking to do MBB. Obviously if you want to go to other industries this might be less relevant.
I’m so torn / keep flip-flopping between INSEAD and Kellogg 2Y 😫 I don’t really know where I want to work after school. I have a preference for a 2 year program but INSEAD just seems so cool and unique and exciting!
MBB London post-MBA level is ~£85k base. To be compared with ~$165-175k in the US I believe.
I have numerous US MBA friends who dropped out of the London process once they got told the salary.
They’re all American firms and McK at least staffs globally so I am surprised to hear there’s such a big gap.
Bonus is ~£15k, and 2nd year is maybe £10k more in TC.
First year Managers do make ~£150k TC, call it ~£100k base and ~£50k bonus.
Thanks, C2. I’m really surprised. I’m in London at a tech company and making more than that. How is it that all my MBB friends here have fancy clothes, bags, cars, full-time nannies, etc. and have done since 1 and 2 years post-MBA? Their lifestyles are much more expensive than mine is, and I’m earning over £150k, with no debt...I’d always assumed they were just making a lot more money than I was...
